Salt scrubs are designed to help remove dead skin and dry skin cells and therefore to allow beautiful fresh skin to show through. Many people love to use these on their feet where it can be particularly hard to remove dead and dry skin just by washing. Salt scrubs can also boost circulation and stimulate your senses.
How To Use
Now this may seem like it should be obvious, however when I first used it I used it like a body wash while the shower ws running. So to get the best out of it follow these instructions. Finish your shower and turn the water off. Take a tablespoon of the salt scrub and massage it into your skin. Start with your hands and feet use a circular motion paying specific attention to the rough and dry areas. Then rinse the scrub off just with water (no soap or body wash) and pat yourself dry. This means that the oils will remain on your skin.
You can then apply a light moisturiser. It might seem obvious but salt scrub contains salt so if you have cuts or wounds it will sting. Due to the coconut oil the slat scrub may have a different consistency in cold and warm weather.
When To Use
Whenever you would like to remove dry skin. Usually 1-2 times a week
