Work into a lather and apply liberally to face or body as part of a normal cleansing/shaving routine. 1 bar should last one user many months.
Benefits
It is common knowledge that most commercial soaps sold in the market are not necessarily the most beneficial for human use. Firstly, they have too many synthetic ingredients the skin does not need. Secondly, most (if not all) beneficial natural soap ingredients were removed from their formula. You only have to look at the back of the packaging to know this is true.
Pure and Green’s Cleansing Moisture Bar cleanses without irritating your skin. Why?
Because this soap is
- made only with all the ingredients posted above,
- doesn’t remove its surplus ingredients that are functional
- doesn’t add unpronounceable chemicals
Therefore nourishing and moisturizing the skin without messing with the skin’s natural function.
This cleansing bar is made using a traditional practice called saponification – an important soap-making process in the world of organic living. It is the natural way of making soap that combines fat or oil (in this case Olive oil and Coconut oil) with water and lye to yield glycerine, a naturally-occurring moisturiser that is often removed in commercial soaps, and resulting soap.
Olive oil is known to alleviate skin conditions ranging from the usual dry skin and dermatitis, to really serious ones like eczema and psoriasis. It has Vitamin E that helps with skin renewal.
Add a dose of Coconut Oil into the mix and one could not have found a better mix of cleansing and hydrating agents. It’s the one-stop solution to almost every skin issue imaginable- antiseptic, antioxidant and a mean moisturizer.
Lavender essential oils give a calming and relaxing effect while helping treat burns, skin irritations, bruises and cuts without leaving scars – a very good ingredient for a cleansing soap.
Last but not least, Shea butter is one of the oldest and most effective moisturisers in the natural world. It was first known to be made and used in Africa. It helps a lot with skin elasticity, and works wonders on scars, acne marks, peeling skin and more.
Together, these ingredients bring richness to the skin that has been exposed to the harsh elements of the Australian climate.
